This customer was going to be selling their house and wanted the walkin bathtub replaced and wall retiled.  The tub was removed as well as the tile on the walls.  A new standard tub was installed with new 16” x 4” tiles.  Rather than use a bullnose tile on the window, shower niche and edges the customer asked to have some grout rubbed in to the spaces and they would “paint” the edges.  The walls were textured as well since the customer was going to paint the bathroom.
This customer was moving to a new and wanted to convert this house to a rental.  The house was built 1906.  They wanted to do some upgrades on a budget.  Rather than replace the cabinets they were painted and new hardware added.  A new faux butcher block counter top with a black walnut backsplash was added.  New vinyl plank flooring was added that ran into an adjoining room.  A new medicine cabinet, cabinet and sink were added to the bathroom.  The bathroom floor was upgraded to a tile floor and a new toilet was installed.  The base trim was in need of replacement so new base trim was added with new quarter round on the cabinets.  The customer planned to add the cover plates on the outlets and switches.  New ceiling fans were installed in the kitchen and dining room.
This customer was painting their house but prior to painting the columns they wanted them repaired.  It’s obvious there is significant damage and some rot.  The boards were removed and replaced.  Some trim was added to improve the look due to some gaps caused by the framing of the boxes around the posts.  The original work had large gaps that had been caulked but over time the caulk failed and significant gaps were exposed.  I ensured there were no gaps and the painter was very happy as well as the customer.

The client purchased a new house and wanted to enlarge the master bedroom by removing the wall between the bonus room and master bedroom.  The first picture shows the wall with the drywall removed.  The wall and outlets were removed and the walls and ceiling were repaired.  Since the electrical work required a permit an electrician was hired to connect the circuits and install a new outlet high up on one wall for a television.  A strip of carpet was purchased and inserted in the strip shown to repair the carpet rather than replacing the entire carpet.
This fireplace surround was bland white.  The client wanted to put tile around it to make it more attractive.  The client purchased the tile and grout to have it installed.
This customer purchased a house with a “tired” deck.  The supporting structure was sound but the deck boards were showing some rot and it had settled with over2” drop on the corner shown.  The boards were removed and replaced with Elite Decking Outdoor Wood cedar tone boards.  The steps had some rot on the lower end of the treads that needed to be repaired prior to installing the boards on the steps.  The pictures below show the new boards, the corner has been raised to be level across the rail by replacing the 4x4 supporing it and step boards replaced.
The customer also asked to have a ceiling fan installed in the master bathroom as well as two new exhaust fans.  The picture to the left shows the ceiling fan.
This customer had installed a new cabinet with countertop and sink in the master bathroom.  They wanted to have a tile backsplash and asked to have the faucet installed.  The tile and grout was purchased by the customer as well as the faucet.
The pictures below show tumbled travertine installed on a floor mixing 12”x12” with 4”x4” tiles.  There was also an underfloor heating system installed to have a warm tile floor.  The two showers were tiled with marble tiles and rock on the floor of the shower shown in the center picture.
This customer had a garage / shed in the backyard of a rental property and wanted the upper level removed and the building returned to a single level to satisfy local code.  The upper level was removed and the front wall had to be reframed due to significant rot.  The door was recessed to reduce water flow on the door.  The customer planned to paint the building.
