Central feature in landscaped area ready for water feature and / or lighting
Rock walls and driveway gate with pedestrian gate
This fence needed some repairs
The homeowner wanted to be able to let their dog run and improve the looks of the fence and the white lattice replaced.
The stringer for the lower step had rotted and the handrail was beginning to lose stability. The deck material is a composite and this particular material is no longer available. The decision was made to replace the lower end of the rotten stringers since the remaining steps were fine. Simple concrete blocks were used and filled with concrete and bolts placed in the concrete to support the boards used to replace the stringers. Additionally a board was placed along the underside of the stringers to provide support for the upper steps that were not affected.

Short retaining wall on a circular driveway and an accent retaining wall to complement the central wall.
A saloon needed a new table under their bar. This one is made from marine plywood with slideout shelves to more easily remove and replace the soda syrup boxes.
The original crawlspace access door frame had developed some rotted wood on the lower board. It was replaced with the custom built access door frame. We were able to use the existing door.
Interior finish and trim work as well as hardwood flooring installation. Note the extreme angle on the two areas meeting the transition boards.

The finished project was as secure, or more secure, than the original steps and rails. Additionally the lower support structure is not in position to be affected by being in close contact to dirt. Even though the stringers were made from pressure treated wood graded for ground contact it will eventually be affected by contact with the ground which is what happened to the original stringers.
This homeowner was transferred to a different city and needed to sell their house. They wanted to replace the door, touch up some areas needing some paint and patch a couple areas of drywall. They replaced the 3 conductor outlet with a 4 conductor outlet for the range but had a small hole above the outlet that needed repair. The homeowner was going to paint the drywall after the spackling dried. The work done was much more likely to not cause issues on an inspection and lead to a better price for the house. There were several spots needing some paint touch up. Trim was added to the inside of the door (not shown) to complete the look inside the garage. The area above the electrical panel was improved by moving the grounding wire to the right and securing it to a stud.
